Meetings can be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on its intended purpose. The reality is that sometimes meeting face-to-face is necessary or the best way to enhance the business relationship. The other cold-hard reality is that today, people are increasingly taxed for their time and arranging a day and time to meet that works for everyone can be extremely difficult! The same goes for all of us in our personal lives.
But fear not, technology on the web provides solutions! At ShiftF7, we've come across various online sites that help you schedule meetings for even the largest of groups at little or no cost. Here are our two current favourites:
We've used Doodle for a while and really like the slick interface, flexibility and options, and the general good feedback we've received when putting it to action. It also integrates well with your calendaring app of choice, whether it be Google, Outlook, or any other that can recognize the standard iCal (*.ics) file format. While we love Doodle, it has been reported to us that some users have had difficulty using it on their smartphones...which is why we have When2Meet !
When2Meet is a great and simple website that will allow you to arrange meetings with a number of people via a simple survey that works great even on mobile phones/devices. The interface is bare-bones, but it works, and the Group's Availability calendar is a nice feature. If you suspect that your meeting invitees will be responding to your meeting request using a small-screen device (tablet, smartphone), then we recommend this site.
No matter what your scheduling needs are for arranging your meetings (in-person or even virtual), these sites offer the solution and help take the pain out of the process and help to improve the user/customer experience.
